1st Quarter History Final Project - Mr. De Maria

Students from Mr. De Maria's class need to understand that before the United States became a country, there were other groups of people living in this land. They made an impact on this great land and they should not be forgotten. Though it is hard to learn about everything throughout history, we can learn about the little things.

We are a country of great peoples and cultures and that is what makes America Great. People forget and by you doing this assignment, you will learn who and what they did.

Directions: Students will complete an outline for the following chapters: Ch 1,2,3, & 4. Students will find 1 key fact for each heading and subheading. A key fact is something that explains the title, heading or subheading.

It must be written or typed (12pt font & times roman). You need to underline the chapter and title, section and title and each heading and subheading. A heading is highlighted in dark blue and a subheading is highlighted in dark red. You can add colors to your assignment if desired.
